Services to Account for 30 per cent of Vietnam Oil, Gas Selector's Revenue by 2015

The oil and gas sector of Vietnam has targeted to boost its services to contribute 20 per cent-30 per cent to the sector’s revenue by 2015, according to the government’s master development plans for oil and gas sector by 2015, a vision to 2025.
 
By 2010, its services will make up for 20 per cent- 25 per cent of the sector’s revenue, the state-owned oil monopoly PetroVietnam said on its website.
 
In 2007, PetroVietnam targeted to have service revenue of VND31,489 billion (US$1.86 billion), up 14 per cent on year, which accounted for 18.7 per cent of its total revenue. 
 
This year, the group aims to have total revenues of VND261.11 trillion (US$15.82 billion); and contribute VND79.58 trillion (US$4.82 billion) to the state budget. (PVN)
