Vietnam Reports Over 6,000 Corruption and Economic Crimes in H1
The entire police sector has discovered 6,318 corruption and economic crimes in the first half of this year, with an estimated loss of VND920 billion (US$54.44 million), the Police Ministry’s report said.
The number of crimes increased by 418 cases compared to the same period last year.
The ministry particularly raised an alarm on the sharp rise of crimes involving labor exports, financial investments, high-tech crimes, and a large number of foreigners violating Vietnamese laws. (New Hanoi)
