Vietnam's Largest Titanium Cinder Plant to Open July 24
Saigon-Quy Nhon Mineral Joint Stock Company will open a titanium cinder production plant worth VND1 trillion (US$59.171 million) in the central province of Binh Dinh, the Investment newspaper reported Wednesday.
The 10-ha plant located in Phu My district will become the largest and most modern of its kind in Vietnam so far.
In the first phase, the facility will cost VND500 billion and will be capable of producing 24,000 tons of titanium cinder and 12,000 tons of pig-iron per year.
The company will raise the plant’s yearly capacity to 60,000 tons of titanium cinder and 30,000 tons of pig-iron in the second phase. (Investment)
