3 Vietnam Apparel Producers Sign Export Contracts to Chile
The Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) said three garment and textile enterprises had signed contracts to export their products to Chile.
The three companies include Binh Duong-based Protrade Garment Co. Ltd, Hanoi Textile-Garment Co. (Hanosimex), Tien giang-based Tien Tien Garment Import-Export Co.
The contracts were signed during their trip to Chile and Argentina between August 10 and 19 to survey and seek business opportunities in the two South American markets.
Under the signed orders, Vietnamese producers will export T-shirts, Polo shirts, vests and child clothes to the Chilean market.
Last year, Vietnam exported US$13.17 million worth of apparels to Chile, accounting for merely 0.7% of the apparel market share in Chile. (Youth)
