Vietnam’s crude oil export value for next year is likely to drop 29.37% from this year, according to a report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The country’s crude oil export volume for 2010 will also tumble 30.15% from 2009, the ministry said.
Next year, the state-run Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) aims to produce 15 million tons of crude oil, including 590,000 tons from overseas oilfields. The group plans to export 9.43 million tons.
PetroVietnam will boost cooperation with its partners to speed up oil and gas exploration and production projects domestically and abroad, mainly in Africa, the America, former Soviet Union countries, and Southeast Asia. (Vietnam Economic Times)
