HCMC Petroleum Products Demand to Jump 44% Yearly by 2015

Demand for petroleum products in Ho Chi Minh City, one of Vietnam’s major economic hubs, is forecast to jump 44% to four million liters of petroleum a year, or 120,000 cubic meters a month by 2015.
 
The city currently uses more than one million cubic meters of petroleum yearly, or 83,333 cubic meters a month.
 
By then, the city will have 496 petrol retail shops with a combined storage capacity of 900,000 cubic meters, the city’s Department of Industry and Trade said. (Labor)
