Vietnam GDP Expected to Grow 6.5% to US$106B Next Year
Vietnam’s gross domestic product (GDP) for 2010 is forecast to expand 6.5% from 2009 to VND1,931.3 trillion (US$106 billion), the government said in a statement submitted to the National Assembly’s Standing Committee recently.
The government said it will take six measures with the focus on boosting investments and exports to achieve the GDP target next year.
It is also targeting to curb state budget deficit to 6.5% next year, down from 6.9% this year, the government’s statement said. (chinhphu.vn)
