SOEs Launches Campaign to Promote Use of Vietnamese Goods

The Party Committee of the state-owned enterprises (SOEs) sector launched a campaign entitled “Vietnamese use Vietnamese goods” in Hanoi on Oct 4.

 

The move was in response to the campaign initiated by the Politburo in early August to promote the use of locally-made commodities.

 

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Politburo member Truong Tan Sang said the campaign is one of the Party’s measures to curb negative impacts of the global economic downturn and stabilize the macro-economy.

 

It is not only aimed to prevent high inflation and ensure social security but also promote patriotism, form the Vietnamese consumption culture and encourage production of competitive and high-quality products for both domestic use and export, Sang noted. (VNS, The People)
