Vietnam Banks Extend Soft Loans to VND408T as of Oct 1
Banks and financial companies in Vietnam provided VND408.206 trillion (US$22.9 billion) in government-subsidizing loans as of Oct. 1, the State Bank of Vietnam, the country’s central bank.
In the week ending on Oct. 1, they added VND3.9 trillion to the economy, up from 0.97% from a week earlier, the central bank said.
The government’s first stimulus package which is estimated to account for 8.6% of GDP will end at the end of Dec. (SBV)
