HCM City Retail Sales, Services Revenue +27.9% to VND372.15T in 2010
Ho Chi Minh City’s total retail sales and services revenue soared 27.9% from a year earlier to VND372.15 trillion ($19.08 billion) in 2010, compared to its earlier target of VND348.45 trillion.
Excluding the price fluctuation, the city’s retail sales and services rose 17.2% from a year earlier, the government’s General Statistics Office said on its website on December 30.
The city’s GDP growth escalated to 13% in the fourth quarter from 11.6% in Q3, 11.1% in Q2 and 11% in Q1. (GSO)
