Japan Tops Importers of Vietnam Pottery in Jan-Nov, 2010

Japan topped the importers of Vietnam’s pottery products in the first eleven months of 2010 with $33.8 million, accounting for 12% of the Southeast Asia country’s total pottery exports in the period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) said.
 
The amount rose by 10.55% from a year earlier, the ministry added.
 
Taiwan ranked the second with $29.6 million between Jan and Nov, up 3.94% on year, the MOIT said. 
 
Among the importers, Cambodia was reported the market with highest growth at 105.08% on year with $14.8 million during the period.
 
Currently, Vietnamese pottery items are showcasing in 40 big museums in the U.S., Japan, Canada, France, Germany, Sweden, Australia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. (Vinanet)
