Vietnam Targets VND95,567 Bln Social Insurance Revenue

According to the decision of the Prime Minister, Vietnam targets total social insurance revenue of VND95,567 billion in 2011. Of the sum, compulsory social insurance will be VND52,042 billion, voluntary social insurance VND150 billion, unemployment insurance VND4,671 billion, health insurance VND26,704, and returns from financial investments will be VND12,000 billion.
 
The State plans to spend VND69,688 billion on the welfare system, in which VND1,731 billion will be spent from the State Budget.
 
In 2010 and 2011, the lawmaking National Assembly decided to lay out VND1,504 billion from the guaranteed social fund and VND227,000 billion for student insurance.
