SBV, ADB to Negotiate Thermal Power Project

 Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has given the nod to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV)’s proposal regarding a negotiation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on loans for the construction of the O Mon 4 Thermal Power Project.

 

The negotiators will come from the State President’s Office, the Office of Government, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the SBV, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Electricity of Vietnam.

 

They will be headed by Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hung, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department of the SBV.

 

The SBV is responsible for working with relevant agencies to finalize necessary procedures for the negotiations and report outcomes to the Prime Minister.

 

Earlier on September 20, the Government chief ratified the O Mon 4 Thermal Power Project.
