AASC: Strength from the Grassroots

Looking back over 21 years of strong growth in party cells, Party General Secretary Ngo Duc Doan, Chairman of Member Board cum Director Manager, shared: “We have always emphasized the development of the Party. Thus, each party member should be exemplary for others to follow. Auditing requires each auditor to continuously cultivate his ethics and lifestyle, and observe professional ethics, especially in market mechanisms and international economic integration. Without transparency it is easy to make mistakes and cause unpredictable consequences, damaging the reputation of both individuals and the whole team. AASC Party Committee is proud of having most of its auditors, company and unit leaders be party members, who always heighten the sense of responsibility, professional ethics in each assignment and play a good role of exemplary pioneers.” Therefore, for the past time, the Party Cell in AASC has continuously developed into a transparent and strong Party Committee.

 

AASC is an independent auditing company and one of two first companies established in Vietnam, specialized in auditing, accounting, consultancy, taxation, identifying corporate value and providing consultancy for equitization, all of which require strict honesty, transparency and passion. Apart from observing Creeds, Charters, and Resolutions by the Party, the Party Cell itself has to make it clear by its own resolutions that suit auditing and each development period of the company. The Party Committee has awakened each party member to follow Ho Chi Minh’s example in studying and working, observed regulations of independent auditing, and integrated auditing and accounting services with the region and the world. The Party Cells in the Committee have also paid much attention to investigating resolution compliance by party members, thereby detecting shortcomings and handling them quickly.

 

In addition to ethics and lifestyle, employees and party members in AASC have also continuously cultivated and updated their professional knowledge, enrolling in national and international training courses. All accountants and auditors have obtained bachelor, master, or PhD degrees and certificates from national and international organizations.

 

According to Mr Ngo Duc Doan, it is critically important to strengthen relationships and unanimity between the party members and promote “Self-criticism and criticism” and “Solidarity and democracy in the Party” to have a powerful Party Committee. This is the foundation that helps AASC fight against negative practices, improve its reputation and win the trust of its partners. Thus, the firm’s over 300 staff have always focused on working transparently, vital for the integrity of auditors.

 

After two decades of development and expansion, AASC in general and AASC Party Committee in particular are proud of the many achievements gained, such as implementing AASC Development Strategy in 2001-2010; and at the moment, in collaboration with the Board of Supervisors, directing implementation of AASC Development Strategy in period 2011 – 2020. The company’s management and business plan (2007-2012) has seen good results. The company has been awarded the whole set of Labour Medals – Grade 1, 2, 3, and Satisfactory flag by the Government. Besides, the Board of Managers has also been awarded the Labour Medal – Grade 3, Emulative Soldier Title, and Satisfactory Certificate of Prime Minister. Additionally, units and individuals in the company have also been presented Labour Medal – Grade 3 by the President, Certificates by the Prime Minister and other noble awards.
