During the past 17 years of construction and development, Bao Long Insurance Corporation is always a trusted non-life insurer in Vietnam. Bao Long is the first non-life insurance joint stock company in Vietnam. It was set up by leading banking, financial, insurance and service firms in Vietnam, including insurer Bao Viet Holdings (BVH), Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), Petec Trading & Investment Corporation (PETEC). The presence of Bao Long Insurance marked a new stage of Vietnamese nonlife insurance market in Vietnam. Diversified, premium-quality services were quickly welcomed by customers. Apart from product development, to provide better service for customers, Bao Long is always interested in establishing and developing networks. After 17 years, the corporation, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, has presence in all provinces and cities with15 affiliated companies and hundreds of agents. In the near future, Bao Long will establish 10 member units in potential places. Remarkably, the firm established a 24/24 customer support system to support customers in the fast manner anytime and anywhere. Bao Long’s operations are increasingly standardised. In early 2010, Bao Long was granted the ISO 9001:2008 international quality management standard by United Registrar of Systems (URS) of the UK. In addition, it invested to upgrade IT infrastructure.
