IMG Investment JSC: Effective Connector for Investors

Established in 2007, after five years of operation, IMG has become a big name in the real estate, energy, finance, and service sectors. Particularly as regards real estate, IMG always seeks innovative and sustainable directions for its investment projects and focuses on office buildings and trade centres for lease in prime locations in big cities. Many projects are seen as the foundation marked IMG’s turning point development like 27B Nguyen Dinh Chieu Building in District 1 (HCM City); Athena Office Tower at 146 Cong Hoa Street, Tan Binh District (HCM City); and 38 Pham Van Dong Building in Hue City, and many others. In 2012, IMG continues deploying the construction of The Artemis Building in Thanh Xuan District (Hanoi City), and Hestia Luxurious Villa Area at 448 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, District 4 (HCM City).

 

Specially, IMG is operating Phuoc Dong Industrial Park and Port covering 143.97 hectares in Can Duoc district, Long An province. The industrial park advantageously has a 3-km convenient waterway transport system adjacent to the Vam Co River, about 38 km from the East Sea, and 30 km from Hiep Phuoc Port. It is also close to trunk roads. Its infrastructure system, electrical system, telecom infrastructure, and waste treatment facilities are perfectly invested to serve investors inside the industrial park. According to the plan, Phuoc Dong will have three wharf clusters, including nine wharves capable of receiving ships of 7,000 to 15,000 tonnes, and likely 20,000 tonnes in the coming time. Its warehousing system is an advantage for attracting investment projects using high-tech, clean energy, and environment-friendly technology. The industrial zone is just a part in a greater locality chosen for reallocating seaports in HCM City in the coming time. Also defined as the gateway from HCM City to the Southeast and Southeast regions, the industrial zone is a dynamic economic region with a very important role in southern economic development strategy.

 

Besides, IMG is the investor of the 120-ha Tan Lap Clean Energy Industrial Park in Can Giuoc district, Long An province. This is a promising project that contributes to robust socioeconomic development of Long An province in particular and of the Mekong Delta region in general. Importantly, it provides a lot of jobs for those living in the province and other neighbouring localities and plays an important part in industrialisation accelerating in the province.

 

In service, finance, and energy fields, the company also achieved significant accomplishments. IMG is currently operating taxi services in cooperation with Gili Taxi brand in Vung Tau and Hue cities; building 4-star Gerbera Hue Hotel of international standards in Hue City; collaborating with Viet Capital and Hoan My Medical Corporation to invest in Hoan My Hue International Hospital. In November 2011, IMG was officially established its member SIMG Company in Singapore. This is a strategic step that IMG takes to mobilise investment capital and develop operating scopes in regional countries.
