098 Viettel Mobile Launched

On October 15, 2004, the Military Telecommunications Company officially inaugurated 098 Viettel Mobile in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. In one year of implementation, the company has completed an enormous volume of work, installing thousands of tonnes of equipment at heights of 20 metres and upward, building nearly 500 stations in 62 provinces and cities of Vietnam.

Dr. Mai Liem Truc, Vice Minister of Post and Telecommunications pointed out that 098 Viettel Mobile is a milestone in the development of the sector providing more choices and better services for the clients and expanding the market in Vietnam.
