Play for Change to Sponsor 19 Sports Media Careers by Hanoi 2019 Asian Games

Recently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (USSH, VNU-HCM) and MP & Silva announced a 6-year partnership programme to offer unique career opportunities in the growing sports broadcasting industry.

 

The programme aims to produce 19 seasoned media professionals who have the potential to make significant contributions to the Hanoi 2019 Asian Games. The forward-looking programme, called “19 for 19”, was proposed by Play for Change, MP & Silva’s corporate social responsibility programme which is dedicated to creating and developing educational programmes and career opportunities for promising young people.

 

MP & Silva, the leader sports media rights agency in Vietnam, will offer two-month internships for five USSH, VNU-HCM students in its Asian headquarters based in Singapore. The interns will receive supervised experience and instruction in a professional work environment through an inter-disciplinary programme, International Sports Media, which will focus on sports media production.

 

One-year contracts will be offered to each of the top three performing interns upon graduation, who will be employed at its Hanoi office.

 

The partnership is the first activity developed in Vietnam under ‘Play for Change’, MP & Silva’s corporate social responsibility programme.
