51 Power Plants Register Competitive Generation
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said as many as 51 power plants registered to take part in the competitive power generation market as of June 2014, an increase of 19 plants at the start. The registered plants have a combined capacity of 12,478 MW.
The competitive power generation market has helped ensure the national energy security, guarantee the safe, reliable operation of electricity system, and enhance transparency and fairness in operational scheduling for power plants.
