This was the topic of an international workshop held recently in Hanoi by National Economics University as part of the university’s 60th founding anniversary. The event brought together speakers and professors from renowned universities in the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom, and those from National Economics University, authorities and start-up companies.

The workshop delved into such major topics as business approach in internationally connected training programmes, roles of universities in creative entrepreneurship development, and entrepreneurial design thinking approach for entrepreneurs.

Harald Von Korflesch- Koblenz and Landau University (Germany) introduced Entrepreneurial Design Thinking (EDT), a tool that enables its users to gain a deep understanding of people's problems and creatively answer them with customised solutions and see personal matters as “market opportunities”.

The University of Koblenz and Landau and National Economics University are cooperating to deploy a master’s degree training programme on technology, innovation and entrepreneurship management - one of leading high-level business start-up programmes in Vietnam in 2017. With the EDT approach, this will be a highly practical training programme that inspires creativity, innovation and modern governance for next generations of entrepreneurs.
