Lilama Succeeds in Manufacturing Cement Kiln

The Vietnam Machinery Installation Corp. (Lilama) has succeeded in manufacturing a rotating cement kiln for the Song Gianh Cement Plant. The kiln has a designed capacity of producing 4,000 tons of clinker a day.

This is an important step in gradually localizing the manufacturing of complete equipment for the cement industry.

Vietnam has set a target to design and manufacture between 70% and 75% of the equipment needed for its cement industry.

Lilama is also manufacturing equipment for other mid-sized cement plants, including the Song Thao Cement Plant and the Pa Vinh Cement Grinding Station.
