Cooking Contest Marks Maximarkkâ€s 10th Anniversary

A cooking contest ‘Preparing meals with Maggi’ is organised every Saturday in December 2005 at the Maximark supermarket. This is to mark the supermarket’s 10^th anniversary and the People’s Army Day, creating an interesting playground for cooking lovers.

 

On the opening day, apart from a competition of 30 teams, there are many exchange activities for guests, in particular a cooking demonstration of Maggi chefs. On the following days, there are contests on preparing food for the weekend, Christmas and Tet (Lunar New Year).

 

The event is organised by Maggi and the An Phong Company (the Maximark supermarket chain) and the MSV Market Development Consultancy Company. Main Maggi products include soya sauce, cooking oil and spices, produced at Nestle’s plant in Dong Nai. Also, the Nestle Group is famous for its instant coffee and tea products, Nescafe, Nestea and Nestle powdered milk.
