"A financial solution built on customer insights that delivers substantial benefits for businesses like ours," said Mr. Le Phat Trung, Director of Thuan An Yen Petroleum Company in Can Tho City, while commenting on the eCash digital application from Ho Chi Minh City Housing Development Commercial Joint Stock Bank (HDBank).

HDBank drives digital transformation to enhance corporate banking solutions

According to Mr. Le Phat Trung, Thuan An Yen Petroleum Company operates 10 stores and 20 petroleum agent outlets. At these locations, most transactions are in cash, resulting in lengthy daily cash operations. Each day, the stores manually close their funds at shift’s end, and the following day, staff transport the cash to the bank - an inefficient, time-consuming process.

Since the company started using HDBank's eCash service, the process has become more convenient, secure, and efficient. Mr. Le Phat Trung explained that with just a few simple steps on the app, HDBank receives information and collects cash from the company-designated locations through its collection team. Once the HDBank staff complete the collection form, the funds are immediately transferred to the company's HDBank account, allowing the business to access cash flow instantly and optimize its capital usage.

"I believe retail chains should prioritize exploring and adopting HDBank's eCash solution to maximize their benefits," said Mr. Le Phat Trung.

Sharing a similar experience to Mr. Le Phat Trung, Ms. Mai Vy - owner of a mini supermarket specializing in fresh food in Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City - shared that her store generates a daily cash flow of VND60 to 150 million. Previously, her staff spent 2–3 hours each day counting and depositing cash at the bank. Since adopting HDBank's eCash technology, end-of-day cash processing has become much faster and more efficient," Ms. Mai Vy praised.

According to a Cisco & IDC report on the digital growth of small and medium enterprises in Asia-Pacific, 62% of businesses expect digital transformation to drive new product and service creation, optimize operating costs, and foster overall growth. Embracing this trend, HDBank has recently implemented a dynamic digital transformation strategy to promote digital banking solutions, particularly for corporate customers. Launched over two years ago, its "Made in HDBank" solution - trusted by large enterprises, chain stores, key companies, individual business households, pharmacy systems, supermarket chains, and convenience stores - leverages digital technology to streamline cash collection. The bank offers a fully online experience, from creating collection orders to managing orders and cash flow, delivering significant benefits that drive rapid business growth.
