EaSim Coffee Co. Raising Living Standards for Local Residents

At present, EaSim Coffee Company is cultivating 1,330 ha of robusta coffee, 240 ha of arabica coffee, and a large area of cotton plants, hybrid acacia, China-trees, protective trees and other valuable trees. The company also raises cattle. The product processing and consumption works has gradually improved in quality. The processed and categorised coffee always meets all export criteria. The annual production capacity reaches 1,000 tonnes of robusta coffee and 300-500 tonnes of arabica coffee.

 

The company has invested VND3.7 billion (US$231,250) to buy new processing lines and VND14 billion (US$875,000) to build a hotel on National Road 27. In addition, the company also attaches much importance to cultural and social life of its employees. The firm organises education, health, arts, culture and sports activities to encourage their workers to devote to their work and ward off social evils. The company has mobilised local people to build the electricity, traffic, school and healthcare centre systems. Especially, ethnic minorities households are provided with water and fertilisers to their farms.
