PM Instructs Administrative Reform

The Government Office on January 9 issued a document to proliferate the Prime Minister’s instructive ideas about the administrative reform. According to this document, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Planning and Investment to check the business establishment, bankruptcy and licensing procedures to get rid of unnecessary ones.

The Prime Minister also asked the Ministry of Construction to check procedures of infrastructure construction, construction licence, house ownership and construction inspection. He also assigned the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to examine procedures of land-use rights licensing and transferring, land lease and site clearance, which will be separated from investment projects and will be under the authority of the local governments.

Also according to the document, the Prime Minister also told the Ministry of Police to investigate procedures inhabitancy procedures and vehicle registrations. These works must be completed and reported within the first quarter of 2007.
