LIDOVIT: Quality Makes Success
LIDOVIT Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company formerly known as LIDOVIT Motor and Motorbike Spare Part Factory was set up in 1988 in form of joint venture between People’s Committee of District 1 and Motor and Motorbike Union under Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry. Over the long development, LIDOVIT has so far built a strong infrastructure system instead of initial small equipment. The company’s revenue and production output have increased 25 times over the early period, with annual growth rate of 17-20 per cent. LIDOVIT has become one of the biggest screw producers in Vietnam.
LIDOVIT’s products are manufactured and managed with strict international standards such as JIS, AISI, DIN, BS and TCVN. Since 2002, LIDOVIT was acknowledged as the producer with quality management system of ISO 9001:2000 by the international certifier DES NORSKE VERITAS (DNV). The company has always maintained and applied the quality management system ISO 9001:2000 in the production process with an attempt to improve the products’ quality to satisfy customers’ demands. LIDOVIT has a tight control over the input of material and the output of products, using dedicated devices. It has young employees, with 80 per cent of workers graduating from universities, and technical schools. LIDOVIT now directly distributes its products to factories and consumers, with the best after-sale services via distribution network nationwide ranging from Hanoi to Can Tho City. Not only occupying domestic market, LIDOVIT’s productsare also exported to the U.S., Japan and European markets.
With the guideline “Quality is priority”, “Customers are the god”, LIDOVIT Joint Stock Company expects to be a close company with every customer. Apart from manufacturing and trading the company’s products, LIDOVIT has been expanded to services, trade, investment and other business lines. The company’s 3th shareholders’ meeting in 2006 has decided to invest in transforming 230 Bach Dang to a LIDOVIT trade centre, apartment and office with 18 storeys, two basements on an area of 27,153 square metres and the precinct area of nearly 2,000 square metres to meet the property demand of the market.
