Gov't Oks Oil & Gas IZ in Mekong Delta Province
The Vietnamese Prime Minister May 5 gave the nod to a plan establishing Tien Giang Oil and Gas Service Industrial Zone in the Mekong Delta province of the same name, the government website reported.
The IZ, which will cover around 1,000 hectares in Go Cong Dong district, will be added to the list of IZs to be prioritized for early setup.
Total investment and startup for the project, however, have not yet been made available.
The cabinet leader assigned the provincial People’s Committee to instruct its subordinates and investors to form the project and submit it to relevant agencies for approval. (www.chinhphu.vn)
