Baoviet Bank Funds VND175B for Shipbuilding Project
BaoViet Bank will provide a loan of VND175 billion (US$9.82 million) for a shipbuilding project of the Vietnam Ocean Shipping Joint Stock Co (Vosco), the bank said on its website.
The loan for building Lucky Star Ship will mature 10 years, the bank’s Deputy CEO Tran Xuan Quang said.
The bank expects to raise its number of transaction offices to 12 by the end of this year, mostly located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Set up on December 13 last year, BaoViet Bank has a registered capital of VND1.5 trillion and of which founding shareholder Bao Viet Group owns a 52% stake, CMC Corporation 9.9%, and Vinamilk 8%. (Vietnam Economic Times)
