Vietnam to Kick-start Key Transport Projects This Year: Ministry
Vietnam plans to kick-start a series of key transport development projects this year as part of efforts to speed up socioeconomic development in the country, the Thoi bao Kinh te newspaper reported, citing the Ministry of Transport (MoT).
The Mot said that the projects are the expansion of Phu Ly-Vinh section on National Highway No.1, a road liking Nhat Tan with Noi Bai international port, belt road 3, Ben Thuy bridge 2 and Vinh Tinh bridge.
This year Vietnam targets to disburse VND37 trillion (US$2 billion) for transport projects according to reports by state media.
This year, the Southeast Asian country plans to operate Can Tho bridge, Ham Luong bridge, Pha Luong bridge and Lang-Hoa Lac road. (Vietnam Economic Times)
