Administrative Procedure Control Agency Makes Debut
The Administrative Procedure Control Agency (APCA) officially came into operation on February 19, with mission to work on the next phase of the National Public Administrative Reform Project (Project 30). The APCA - a subordinate of the Government Office - is operated under the direct guidance of the Prime Minister.
Mr Ngo Hai Phan, former Deputy Head of the Special Task Force of Project 30 under the Government Office, was appointed as the Director of the APCA.
APCA is responsible for urging ministries, localities and branches to execute the third phase of Project 30, ensuring the publicity and transparency of administrative procedures at the four administrative levels, and coordinating with other bodies to solve troubles in administrative procedures.
The establishment of APCA is expected to guarantee the continuity and promotion of positive outcomes of the Project 30.
