Viet Duc Coffee One Member Co., Ltd has made long strides in all production and business fronts. And in 2011, the company completed its operating objectives and the living standards of its workers were increasingly improved.
The firm raked in revenues of VND55.199 billion, 32 percent higher than the initial plan, and made a pre-tax profit of VND2.536 billion, just 1 percent above the plan. Fresh coffee output totalled 11,447 tonnes in the 2010 - 2011 crop.
From the business results last year, it is quite easy to envisage that the company had impressive development in all production and business aspects. At present, the company’s leaders are directing the investment for its 1,342 hectare plantation. Average fresh coffee productivity reaches 16.5 tonnes per hectare. The company is capable of preserving and processing coffee safely and effectively. The company continues making a profit.

In addition, relatively stable prices of coffee offered an opportunity for promoting production and business.
Viet Duc also attaches special importance to renovating and modernising production lines and reorganising sales division. The company resolutely purchases only ripe coffee to ensure premium product quality. To do this, the firm cooperates with existing gathering points to buy coffee in order to improve the quality of export coffee. Hence, its coffee products are the favourite of customers worldwide. Coffee bean is exported to Japan and other high-grade coffee products are sold in the United States, Germany and the Netherlands.
Besides, the company tries to stabilise production and enhance product quality by rationalising production, guiding farmers to pick up coffee with highest quality retained and collaborating local authorities to protect products. Last but not least, it joins hands with importers and exporters to open high-quality coffee purchasing points.
To have the current position, Viet Duc coffee brand is built by efforts of the entire staff. The unanimity of the staff is resulted from Viet Duc’s deep care and fair treatment for them. Working with enough meal allowance, social insurance, medical insurance is the driving force for the employees to devote to the company. Therefore, despite facing numerous difficulties, they still feel assured when they work for the company.
Director Thang said the company’s management board quickly adopts policies and measures to withstand difficulties. Monthly income reaches VND1.2 million per person in the latest five years. To date, up to 80 percent of employees have their own houses and over 60 percent of households own agricultural machines. All families have motor vehicles and audiovisual devices.
Under the recommendations of the company, many coffee-growing households hire extra areas to increase incomes and generate jobs. The company lent VND5 billion to its workers to tend extra coffee farms.
With what it has done, Viet Duc Coffee One Member Co., Ltd is gaining a stronger foothold on domestic and foreign markets, thus allowing it to bring the Vietnamese coffee brand to a new plane.
