As a leading distributor of high quality materials, special chemicals, non-oil chemicals and other materials in Vietnam, Asia Chemical Corporation (ACC) has to date demonstrated its solid position in the process of integration and asserted its position on the marketplace.
Established in 2001, after nearly 12 years of operation, ACC has made marvellous growth in both scale and range of operations. In April 2007, it was transformed into a joint stock company to suit the new development situation. This really marked a new milestone and created a plenty of opportunities for it to promote internal resources and strengths to rise up. According to the business philosophy “Placing the customer confidence on top,” ACC has constantly conducted researches on product - service quality improvement, thus ensuring timely delivery, product quality and customer trust. Apart from competitive prices, ACC also guarantees product quality and customers’ interests.

The ACC business office is located at Etown 2 Office Building near the downtown of Ho Chi Minh City, the Exhibition and Convention Centre, and Tan Son Nhat International Airport. It is very convenient for business communications and services. The company has also invested in a modern equipped laboratory to experiment and test its products, even the most complicated ones. Its warehouse system, covering nearly 3,000 square metres, is capable of storing a large volume of materials in guaranteed conditions to ensure compliance with food safety and environmental standards.

Apart from synchronous infrastructure system, ACC also has a modern information technology system that helps strengthen dynamism in communication as well as ensure the security and confidentiality of internal and external information. Specially, the applied business software allows the corporation provide updated and accurate data, ensure strict control and improve efficiency of supply chain management.

At present, the current distribution system, staffed by more than 90 employees, has reached nearly all major provinces and cities in the country such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho. Giving explanations to this lean personnel apparatus, General Director Tran Van Hai said: “ACC focuses on quality, not quantity. We are proud to have a strong force of highly skilled technical staff and dedicated consultants with profound experience in the chemical industry. We are ready to serve and provide best comprehensive solutions for customers.”

In addition to distribution, ACC has stepped into production scopes, aiming to generate most interests for the society and create more jobs for workers. Accordingly in 2008, ACC joined hands with Vinamilk to establish Asia Saigon Food Ingredients Company (AFI). This is a pioneering enterprise in Vietnam specialising in producing non-dairy creamers of high quality, prestige and competitive price. It is equipped with Denmark technology.

Non-dairy Alpha cream powder is the main ingredient for food and drink production like beverages, cereals, candy and ice cream. As a widely used product, the demand is very high. However, ACC never neglects to guarantee highest standards for its products. It still performs research and development studies on products. It pays particular attention to quality and safety factors. In the end, the company’s efforts are deserved. It was the first to produce non-dairy cream in the country which was quickly accepted by the market. Since AFI went into operation in 2011, ACC’s net profit has grown up strongly, thus enabling the company to invest into other areas.

Besides the joint venture with Vinamilk, ACC also cooperated with Sud-Chemie to set up a moisture-proof substance production facility in Binh Duong province. This entire production line was imported from Singapore and its manufacturing processes are moderated by foreign experts.

According to its development strategy, ACC aims to become a top three distributor of specialised chemicals sector and a top producer of food ingredients in Vietnam by 2015.
