Khanh Hoa VCCI: Companion of Businesses
To assist the business community in Khanh Hoa and neighbouring provinces, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) opened a representative office in Nha Trang in 1996. In the initial stage, the office was small with two staff members located in the offices of the Department of Planning and Investment. The representative office has increased its support to enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises that often faced difficulties in the transition of the economy. The staff has now five well-trained members to meet the increasing demands of the business community.
As a local representative office, Khanh Hoa VCCI focuses its activities on training, collecting recommendations for businesses on draft laws, providing related legal documents and issuing certificates of origins. It participates in preparations for international exhibitions and trade fairs, business missions going abroad, business meetings with the Prime Minister and business surveys. Khanh Hoa VCCI is also co-organiser of training courses for SME owners such as SIYB (starting your business) sponsored by ILO, a Business Edge
