The Korean-invested steel flatware producer, Yujin Vina, has proposed a US$10 million project to build a commercial complex in Danang Water Park in the central city of Danang.

If the project gets approval from local government, the Ho Chi Minh City-based company plans to develop a trade complex comprising a high-end hotel, restaurant, apartment chain, meeting hall, shopping malls, cinemas, and other recreational services.

Ngo Truong Tho, director of the water park, said the Korean investor had made a study and expressed a strong desire to build the complex.

Being the first modern park in the entire region, it spreads over 10 hectares in the heart of the city.

Yujin Vina was licensed in Vietnam in 1997 to make flatware for export mainly to the EU and Australia. Its annual exports are worth US$26 million. (Young People)
