Work to Start on US$2.57B Splendora Urban Area Soon
An Khanh New City Development Joint Venture Company has recently introduced its Splendora trademark as the first step to start work on the US$2.57 billion urban complex in the west of Hanoi.
The Splendora urban complex, formerly known as North An Khanh urban area, will include villas, semi-detached houses, apartment buildings, and other functional facilities on a 264-hectare site in the four communes of Hoai Duc district.
Main contractors for the project are Vietnam Construction and Export Import Joint Stock Corp (Vinaconex) and Posco E&C, a South Korean construction firm. Vinaconex and Posco E&C are founders of the joint venture.
Construction on the project is expected to last for 10 years with the first phase scheduled for completion by 2012. (Investment)
