Vietnam Customs Hotline Launched
The General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDC) recently sent Official Document 10653/TCHQ dated November 10, 2016 on telephone hotline operation and management to provincial/municipal customs departments.
On November 10, 2016, the General Department of Vietnam Customs issued Decision 3899/QD-TCHQ on regulations on telephone management and operation and procedures of receipt and processing information notified on the hotline. The regulation is scheduled to take effect on November 15, 2016.
Thus, the General Department required provincial/municipal customs departments to make public the telephone hotline 19009299 of the GDC at easily seen places and at their affiliated offices. They also need to deactivate their hotlines supplied before the new hotline is provided.
They need to work with Viettel Corporation, the service provider, to carry out subscription procedures. Old hotline numbers previously announced on Customs Newspaper and GDC websites, will be deactivated.
