Vietnam Exports US$150M Apparels to S. Korea Jan-Sept

Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) estimated the sector’s export revenues to South Korea at US$150 million between January and September, but giving no on-year comparisons.
 
During the nine-month period, shorts represented an on-year growth of 149%, followed by T-shirts 147%, coats 95%, jackets 40.1% and trousers 12%.
  
In September, earnings from apparel exports to the market reached US$32 million, up 14% against August and over 50% compared to the same month of last year, the Vitas said. (Investment)
