Vietnam Attends Asian Tax Administration Meeting - SGATAR 46
Deputy General Director Dang Ngoc Minh of the General Department of Taxation led a study group of the General Department to attend the 46th Annual Meeting of the Study Group on Asian Tax Administration and Research (SGATAR 46) in New Zealand from November 21 to 23, 2016. The conference brought together 17 study groups representing 17 national tax agencies in Asia.
SGATAR was established as an annual forum for sharing information and insights in regard to specific tax issues in the region. Therefore, at the Tax Leaders Summit, delegates worked together to update remarkable information on tax administration in each member country and share experiences, difficulties and challenges in current tax administration.
Joining SGATAR and its forums enables Vietnam’s tax sector to learn and exchange experience on tax administration and personnel training with other tax agencies in the most dynamic economic region of the world today.
