Gov't Buys Microsoft Office for State Agencies

On the occasion of Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer’s short visit to Vietnam, the Vietnamese Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement and a contract to buy genuine Microsoft Office for all computers at State offices nationwide. This an important part of the State-Business Cooperation Agreement, aiming to boost the development of the Vietnamese information and communication technology industry.

 

The contract to buy genuine software programmes is clear evidence for the pioneering commitment of the Vietnamese Government in intellectual property protection.
