France to Name New Ambassador to Vietnam

Mr Blarel, the current French ambassador to Vietnam, has opened a press conference to announce the end of his three-year term in Vietnam this month.

A source from the French Embassy said Mr Hervé Bolot will replace Mr Jean-Francois Blarel in Vietnam.

Mr Bolot, born in 1945, is a doctor of geography and is now the French ambassador to Romania. He used to work in Congo.
