Excellent 9 CIO in 2007

IDG Vietnam announced nine excellent IT leaders (CIO) of 2007. The list includes Mr Nguyen Quang Bac, director of Technical Science and Military Technology Centre under the Ministry of National Defence; Mr Le Hai Binh, IT director of Pacific Airlines; Mr Nguyen Cong Binh, director of Information Technology and Statistics Office under the Customs Bureau; Mr Ngo Minh Chau, director of Informatics Centre, National Assembly Office; Mr Le Manh Ha, director of Ho Chi Minh City Information and Telecom Department; Ms Truong Hoang Ngoc, head of IT Department, Savimex’s Head of Planning Department; Mr Pham Thanh Tan, deputy general director of the Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank); Mr Nguyen Viet The, director of Professional IT Office under the Technology Bureau, the Ministry of Police; and Mr Hoang Quoc Tuan of IT Steering Committee of Party’s bodies.

Awards for excellent CIO aim to acknowledge great progress in business and leadership capacity, not simply an IT prize. In the selection process, the selecting committee highly appreciates individuals with creative projects, innovation and optimal methods to effectively apply IT into the business’s operation.

In the framework of the award ceremony, 15 Best IT Products selected by CIO & CEO were also announced (CIO&CEO’s Choice Products 2007).
