Vietnam Forecast to Make Revenues of US$50 Mln of Online Games This Year

Vietnam is predicted to make revenues of US$50 million from online games this year, Vietnam News Agency quotes the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA) as saying.
 
VINASA figures that at the current growth rate, every game player will spend US$50 annually.
 
Currently, among ten online game providers in Vietnam, FPT, VTC, AsiaSoft and Hanoi Telecom are the most prominent.
 
The entertainment market is forecast to hit US$83 million by 2010, it further said.
 
Most online games are now sourced from China and South Korea with domestic online companies distributing them. (VietNamNet)
