Of the total, 16.63 billion kWh of power was provided for the country's industry and construction sectors, up 23.5 per cent on year, the Nong Thon Ngay Nay (Countryside Today) newspaper reported June 3.
Meanwhile, power consumption by management sector and households hit 9.8 billion kWh during the period, up 13.7 per cent on year, according to the source.
In an effort to ensure sufficient and stable power supply for the country in June, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently demanded EVN to speed up construction paces of power projects nationwide and urge the whole people to save electricity.
