Jetstar Applies for Agreement with Japan Airlines

Jetstar has applied to the International Air Services Commission (IASC) to allow it to enter into a code share arrangement with Japan Airlines on Osaka and Tokyo flights.The Qantas Group made the formal application to seek the green light from the IASC on behalf of Jetstar.
Jetstar has an existing code-share agreement with Japan Airlines on its Osaka-Brisbane-Sydney route, which was announced in March 2007.
Jetstar services its Japan routes with Airbus A330-200 aircraft, offering 303 seats in economy and the premium StarClass product. Jetstar employs fluent Japanese speaking crew on each flight with Japanese language content available in the inflight magazine and as part of the inflight video entertainment.
