VG Pipe Invests US$16 Mln to Expand Production

The Vietnam-Germany Steel Pipe Joint Stock Company (VG Pipe) has finished the second phase – expanding the steel pipe production plant in Binh Xuyen district in northern Vinh Phuc province.
 
VG Pipe invested US$16 million in the phase to install six black steel pipe production lines, one galvanized steel pipe production line and two cold laminated corrugated iron production lines.
 
Currently, VG Pipe is owning a total of 12 black steel pipe production lines, two galvanized steel pipe production lines and two cold laminated corrugated iron production lines to turn out an annual output of 350,000 tons, including 200,000 tons of steel pipes and 150,000 tons of cold laminated corrugated iron.
 
VG Pipe is capable of making steel pipes with diameter of between 12.7mm and 219.1mm and thickness of 1.6mm-9.52mm. (Vietnam Economic Times)
