Vietnam, WB Sign US$152 M Infrastructure Development Deal

The State Bank of Vietnam and the World Bank Aug 28 signed a US$152 million credit agreement for an infrastructure development project in Vietnam’s central city of Danang.
 
The project costing US$218 million with US$66 million the government of Vietnam will contribute in reciprocal capital is aimed at improving transportation infrastructure systems in selected areas and capacity of local authorities.
 
The project is slated for 2008-2013. (Local sources)
