Vietnam Co. Hands over 6,500 DWT Oil Tanker to Korean Firm

Pha Rung Ship Building Limited Company September 1 handed over a 6,500 DWT chemical and oil tanker to the Korean Fortune Mariane Co., Ltd., two months sooner than scheduled.

This is the second among five vessels that were contracted to build between the two companies.

The vessel so-called FC GRACE was designed with 110 meters in length, 18.2 meters in width, a tank capacity of 7,300 cubic meters, and an average velocity of 13 nautical miles per hour.

Pha Rung company is now speeding up works in a bid to hand over the third vessel to its Korean partner this November, one and a half months sooner than scheduled. (People's Army)
