Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a project to build Pho Hien university with a total investment of VND5.53 trillion (US$325.3 million) in the northern province of Hung Yen.
The project aims to train staff for key economic zones in northern Vietnam.
Under the 1,000 hectare project, a university will be built on 700 hectares and a new urban area will also be constructed on 300 hectares.
The project will be implemented in three stages through 2020. (The People)
