The Science and Technology Service of the central province of Quang Tri began construction of a center to test the quality of import and export goods in the Lao Bao special economic and trade zone on July 14.
The center, which will have a three-storey administrative office, a three-storey technical building and a two-storey measuring and services verification building, has a total investment of VND47.265 billion (US$2.797 million).
The goods testing center being built by Bach Dang Joint Stock Company is scheduled for completion in late June 2010. (Vietnam Economic Times)
