Companies in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre earned US$8.7 million from exports of coconut fruits and coconut products to China.
Of the figure, shipment of coconut fruits accounted for US$8.38 million, the source said.
The rest, meanwhile, came from coconut fiber and jelly export.
Ben Tre province is very well-known as the “land of coconut.” The province currently has more than 40,000 hectares of coconut trees and has a wide range of coconut species. (People’s Deputy)
